The fair was so much fun! I think the craft section was kind of weak, and they didn't really have that much "produce"-you know, like the massive pumpkins and tomatoes etc.? They did have one large zucchini that was 10 pounds! I always liked that part of the Utah State Fair, and I loved the quilts and the beautiful canned produce at the Utah State Fair too. Here are some highlights!

A fried candybar. We HAD to try it! Dave said he's been wanting to try one for a looong time. It was pretty tasty! (What's not to like?)

Drinking the free smoothie

Sweet Clara, our niece that now lives by us! She is so precious. It was fun to be able to go to the fair with Jordan and Crystal. Yay for having family in Ohio!

Harry was so scared of the goats, rams, and pigs! I think it's because they were bigger than him. He would watch for a second, and then get this incredibly sad face. Poor guy. If I saw a goat bigger than me, I'd be scared too.

Christmas trees exhibit. One of the coolest parts of the fair (which I didn't get a picture of-what was I thinking?) was the decorated cowboy hats. Each county painted a hat and some of them were sooo amazing! They were all in the theme of the beautiful and rich Ohio farmland. Many of them had little figures on them too.

OK, now that I have a lemon to suck on, I'm happy (???) Pickles, lemons....he's knows what's good.

The butter cow

This is such a cute bunny. I especially liked the bunnies now that I have a bunny of my own!

Eating a huge turkey leg. We have always wanted to try one of these too, and boy was it tasty!! It just makes you look medieval.
